Tercentenary, this mansion has served for more than 100 years as a setting for meetings between the French and the Dutch in their political, economic, cultural, scientific exchanges.
The salons of honor on the ground floor have regained their brilliance since their entire renovation in 2017. Nestled between the courtyard and a lush garden, the architecture subtly plays with the visitor, while each room in the interior layout, whether fixed or furnished, not only adds to the lustre of the place but also tells part of its fascinating story.

Private mansion built by architect Jean-Baptiste Le Roux in 1718, on behalf of Claude Théophile de Bésiade, Marquis d'Avaray. It has been the official residence of the ambassadors of the Kingdom of the Netherlands since 1920\. Completely restored in 1920, it has however designed its original staircase. The interior decoration (woodwork, tapestries, paintings of the Dutch school) dates from this period.
