The opening of the Louis Vincent high school was carried out in 1910, at least as regards the classrooms of classical education. Located on the edge of the city, it is at the origin of a new district that has developed from year to year. After the First World War, it is in 1920 that the establishment really takes off with the creation of technical teachings, it becomes an ENP (national professional school). Close to the station, the Neue Stadt, also called imperial district or after the creation of the church, district Sainte Thérèse, has a very Germanic architecture. The proximity to the city centre, the creation of the Saint-Symphorien stadium and the access to the A31 motorway have given this district a major boost. The social composition of the inhabitants is very colorful "tertiary" and the price of apartments and rentals implies a favored social environment.
