Höhepunkt des Wochenendes: die Entdeckung der Schleusen von Fessenheim und des Schleuserhandwerks.
Besucher können ausnahmsweise den Bajoyer betreten, den Raum zwischen den beiden Schleusen, der normalerweise für die Öffentlichkeit geschlossen ist. Die EDF-Teams werden die wesentliche Rolle der Schleusen in der Rheinschifffahrt sowie die Herausforderungen des Binnenschiffsverkehrs auf einer der wichtigsten europäischen Achsen erklären.
Eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, die Rückseite eines Bauwerks zu entdecken, das jedes Jahr von Tausenden von Booten durchquert wird.

Highlight of the weekend: the discovery of the locks of Fessenheim and the profession of lock keeper.
Visitors will exceptionally be able to access the bajoyer, the space between the two airlocks, usually closed to the public. The EDF teams will explain the essential role of locks in Rhine navigation, as well as the challenges of river transport on one of the main European routes.
A unique opportunity to discover behind the scenes of a structure crossed by thousands of boats each year.
