Follow an exceptional tour commented by the owners of the castle: unravel the mysteries of the ancient fortress of the Marches de Bretagne that was La Ballue for 600 years and follow the extraordinary journey of its amazing builder, Gilles de Ruellan, at the beginning of the 17th century. Discover the main episodes of the history of this house, through the wars of religion, the Breton Chouannerie, the French Revolution and the industrial episode of the glassworks.
You will be presented the architectural evolution of this heritage site, from the courtyard to the interiors of the castle, as well as the history of its various owners.
