Nur wenige Schritte vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, laden die Gärten des ehemaligen Karmel-Klosters zur Meditation ein. Von den Kapuziner und dann von den Karmelitinnen des 17. Jahrhunderts bis 1998 besetzt, erstreckt sich die Klosteranlage mit ihren Gärten über fast 9000 m 2. Die Gärten wurden ursprünglich als Lebensraum genutzt und sind von hohen Mauern geschützt. Heute befindet sich hier das Heritage House.
Der Obstgarten, der Noviziatsgarten oder das Kloster mit seinen verschiedenen Größen und Blütenständen zieren den Ort. Der Hauptgarten ist in sechs rechteckige Parzellen unterteilt, die mit Buchsbaum umsäumt sind und an den alten Gemüsegarten des Klosters erinnern. Gleich nebenan führt ein Gitter zum «enclos Richelieu», dem ehemaligen Obstgarten des Klosters.

Just a stone’s throw from the city centre, the gardens of the former Carmel monastery are ideal for meditation. Occupied by the Capuchins and then by the Carmelites from the 17th century to 1998, the monastic establishment and its gardens extend over nearly 9000 m 2. Sheltered by high enclosure walls, the gardens originally had a food function. Today, the site hosts the Heritage House.
The orchard, the garden of the novitiate or the cloister, with different sizes and flowers, decorate the site. The main garden is divided into six rectangular plots lined with boxwood to recall the old vegetable garden of the monastery. Right next to it, a gate allows you to reach the "Enclos Richelieu", the former orchard of the monastery.

Protetti da alte mura di recinzione, i giardini avevano in origine una funzione di cibo. Oggi il sito ospita la Casa del patrimonio.
Il frutteto, il giardino del noviziato o il chiostro, con diverse dimensioni e fioriture, impreziosiscono il sito. Il giardino principale è diviso in sei lotti rettangolari bordati da bossi per ricordare l'antico orto del monastero. Proprio accanto, una griglia permette di raggiungere «l'enclos Richelieu», l'antico frutteto del monastero.

À deux pas du centre-ville, les jardins de l’ancien monastère du carmel sont propices à la méditation. Occupés par les capucins puis par les carmélites du XVIIᵉ siècle à 1998, l’établissement monastique et ses jardins s’étendent sur près de 9000 m². Abrités par de hauts murs de clôture, les jardins avaient à l’origine une fonction vivrière. Aujourd’hui, le site accueille la Maison du patrimoine.
Le verger, le jardin du noviciat ou le cloître, aux tailles et aux fleurissements différents, émaillent le site. Le jardin principal est divisé en six parcelles rectangulaires bordées de buis pour rappeler l’ancien potager du monastère. Juste à côté, une grille permet de rejoindre « l’enclos Richelieu », l’ancien verger du monastère.

Protegidos por altos muros de valla, los jardines tenían originalmente una función de alimentación. Hoy en día, el sitio alberga la Casa del Patrimonio.
El huerto, el jardín del noviciado o el claustro, con diferentes tallas y floraciones, embellecen el sitio. El jardín principal está dividido en seis parcelas rectangulares bordeadas de boj para recordar el antiguo huerto del monasterio. Justo al lado, una rejilla permite llegar a «el enclos Richelieu», el antiguo huerto del monasterio.
