Of the old(former) medieval fortress, there remain(subsist) underground vaulted rooms. The castle of Trémilly is rebuilt in 1713 on plans of the architect and sculptor chaumontais Jean-Baptiste Bouchardon. The park keeps(preserves) several constructions of the XVIth century s. (postern, porticoes(gantries), well) A fire entirely devastated the castle in 2002, it was since restored completely.
