On the weekend of September 21 & 22, the Moulin Bastide du Laval participates in the new edition of the European event «Heritage Days».
Our doors will be open on Saturday, September 21 from 10am to 1pm & 3pm to 7pm, as well as on Sunday, September 22 from 10am to 1pm & 3pm to 6pm to invite the visitor to linger, to better understand, feel, taste, learn…
This weekend’s open house program includes:

  • Saturday & Sunday at 10:30 am and 3:30 pm: guided tour of the olive grove and the mill followed by a tasting of the oils, wines and products of the estate.
  • Throughout the weekend, enjoy free and marked walks of the olive grove and mill (using educational materials and audioguide) and free tastings of olive oils and wines.
As an olive oil mill, our participation in the 2024 Heritage Days is of particular importance. Our mill, steeped in history and tradition, represents a key element of the material heritage of our region. It embodies not only the craftsmanship of olive oil production, but also the deep ties between Mediterranean cultures, communities and lands.
Through our participation, we wish to share the fascinating history of our mill, from its humble origins to its vital role in preserving our culinary heritage. As guardians of this millennial tradition, we are proud to perpetuate the production methods inherited from our ancestors, while adapting our know-how to modern requirements.
