The airport of Auch-Gers organizes its open day on the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2024. Industrialists (JCB aero, RTE helicopters, etc.) and training organizations (EFORSA firefighters) will present their activities. The aeroclubs of the airport (Centre Vélivole d'Auch, ULM Albatros d'Auch, Aéroclub Gascon, the old planes of Vintage Aircraft Midi-Pyrénées, the aeromodel and a hot air balloon) will be present in front of the control tower. Discovery flights will be offered, upon registration with the glider clubs (Centre Vélivole d'Auch) and ULM (club ULM Albatros). In terms of heritage, the public will be able to see old historic machines released especially for the occasion. There will be contests to surprise visitors. The airport’s new restaurant will be open for the public.
