Guided tours by the agents of the building archives, conservation areas and discovery of the collections by group of 15 people. Tours depart every ½ hours from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On-site registration, arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure. Free visit of the exhibition "Commemorating the Landing. 80 years of history and memory in the Channel"

The departmental archives, the most old(former) patrimonial service(department) of the department since their creation goes back up(raises) to the Revolution and management of which was confided(entrusted) to the General Council during the first decentralisation, implement five missions: 1\. a mission of control of archives produced to the public people of their spring(competence), 2\. a mission of collection of the administrative archives but also of the private archives which establish(constitute) 3, because of destructions of 1944, a complement essential to bottoms today missing. a mission of classification(ranking) of the collected documents, 4\. a mission of preservation of these documents, 5\. finally, a mission of communication of documents.
