Since his meeting with Chomo in 1975, the writer and art critic Laurent Danchin has devoted himself to making the artist known to the public. He collected Chomo’s words in the book “Chomo – Un pavé dans la vase intellectuelle” (Simoën, 1978) and played an essential role in the creation of the association of the Friends of Chomo in 2015.
As a child, Amélie Danchin came to visit Chomo with her father. She is now president of our association and, on the occasion of the 60 years of the opening to the public of this site, she wishes to pay tribute to Chomo with a reading of poems of the artist and other texts in resonance with the work of Chomo, accompanied by his sister Clara Danchin, internationally renowned professional violinist.
The concert will be followed by an aperitif offered by the association.
