The arboretum of the Güth House in Hoste is a hidden treasure in the heart of the village.
You can admire, for example, a giant redwood of America.
In this arboretum whisper stories of trees... or would they be trees in history? What happened after the visit of a President of the United States of America to King Louis XVI? What has a Jesuit left to evangelize China? The use of such a tree was decisive during the great battles of the Hundred Years War, others advanced medicine.
These stories are told during the visit, led by an enthusiast.
The Güth house, an authentic 17th century Moselle house, will also be open to visitors and a refreshment bar and homemade tarts will be offered.
