Two new tracks to discover Haybes:

an urban circuit to observe the industrial past (former pyroligneux factory, breweries, etc.), the religious past (church, oratory, Lourdes cave), the historical past (old photo exhibition, monument). - A slate circuit to discover the intramural slate pits by highlighting various vestiges. These journeys are a connection between past and present and a means of transmission to new generations.

Marcel Ranson Square is located behind the town hall of Haybes. It was in 919 that the name of Haybes appeared for the first time on a document. The city was destroyed many times before entering a long period of reconstruction following the attachment of the point of Givet to Belgium by the German occupier in 1918.
