Free visit of Notre-Dame de Peygros - Tanneron
After the order of King Louis Philippe of 28 April 1835 detaching Tanneron from the commune of Callian, the small Chapel of Notre Dame de Peygros was erected as a parish. The parish priest of Les Adrets then provided the parish service and, it is under his direction, that in 1835, was enlarged the small Chapel which was then dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua. The population participated in its construction, first by a voluntary subscription, but also for supplies and materials that were taken by wagon or arm. It is said that on Sundays, the people who came to Mass and the children who came to the catechism each brought their own stone. The work took place from 1839 to 1844. The bell tower is equipped with two bells that were acquired at the expense of the inhabitants.
