Die Festung Janus wurde nordöstlich des Platzes Briançon über der Position des Gondran gebaut. Diese moderne Festung ist das höchste und fortschrittlichste an der italienischen Grenze und besteht aus zwei Teilen, einem 1887 erbauten Infanteriebunker und einem ab 1898 erbauten unterirdischen Teil. Zur Flankierung der Verteidigungslinie von Gondran wurde eine Front-Action-Kasematte errichtet, die mit 4 95-Geschützen auf Küstenwache bewaffnet ist. Es ist die einzige Kasematte dieser Art, die in Frankreich gebaut wurde. Und dank der Vereinigung Forts-Janus und dem Fremdenverkehrsamt haben Sie die Möglichkeit, dieses Buch mit einem Führer zu besuchen.

The fort of Janus is built in the North East of the place of Briançon, above the position of Gondran. This fully-tested modern fort is the highest in the square and the most advanced on the Italian border and it consists of two parts, an infantry blockhouse built in 1887 and an underground part built from 1898. A frontal action casemate was built to flank the Gondran defence line. It was armed with 4 95 guns on a coast guard. It is the only casemate of this type built in France. And thanks to the association Forts-Janus and the Tourist Office you have the opportunity to visit this book with a guide.

Il forte del Giano è costruito a nord-est della piazza di Briançon, sopra la posizione del Gondran. Questa fortezza moderna, completamente testata, è la più alta della piazza e la più avanzata sul confine italiano ed è composta da due parti, una casa di fanteria costruita nel 1887 e una parte sotterranea costruita a partire dal 1898. Una casemate d'azione frontale è costruita per fiancheggiare la linea di difesa del Gondran. Essa è armata di 4 cannoni del 95 su un'asta di costa. È l'unica casemate di questo tipo costruita in Francia. E grazie all'associazione Forts-Janus e all'Ufficio del Turismo avete l'opportunità di visitare quest'opera con una guida.

El fuerte del Jano se construyó al noreste de la plaza de Briançon, por encima de la posición de Gondran. Esta fortaleza moderna completamente a prueba de golpes es la más alta de la plaza y la más avanzada en la frontera italiana y consta de dos partes, un búnker de infantería construido en 1887 y una parte subterránea construida a partir de 1898. Se construyó una casamata de acción frontal para flanquear la línea de defensa del Gondran. Está armada con 4 cañones de 95 en busca de costa. Es el único casamate de este tipo construido en Francia. Y gracias a la asociación Fort-Janus y la Oficina de Turismo tiene la oportunidad de visitar esta obra con un guía.
