Constructed buildings to a great extent with materials of reuses resulting(coming) from ancient and medieval constructions of the valley. On the whole, the main streets were done up in opposite slope to make easier the traffic(circulation) and the establishment of the noble and bourgeois houses. These streets which connect(bind) on the West, the place(square) of the old market and in the East, the place(square) of the church, are handled calades there (name resulting(coming) from knowledgeable stones them some against others to train(form) the surface of traffic(circulation)) and lined by some very beautiful private residences. Street of Evêché, it is possible to indicate the Fabre de Saint-Véran hotel which shelters the inn of the Belfry. He(It) possesses two perfectly kept(preserved) door frames of the XVIth century. Farther, the chapel of the brotherhood of the white penitents adjoins the town house of the family of Taulignan and those of the de Montfort. By continuing, the walker passes in front of(comes before) the old(former) bishop's palace, done up at the end of the XVIth century. Place(Square) of the Elm, the House of the Prévost du Chapître and the facade of the chapel Saint-Constance will be seen. Finally facing the Church, located in end is of the rocky mound the well-manicured house of the de Blégiers rises. The church-cathedral begun in the second half of the XVth century was repeatedly transformed for its enlargement and for its embellishment to the son of architectural styles. The building was restored in 2012-2013 and am open to the public since May, 2013\. They will stay with interest over the facade in freestones of style Jesuit, on unusual roofing of the bell tower and in its reused medieval decorations(sets). A few steps away from there, the small place overhangs the valley of Ouvèze. A magnificent panorama offers itself to the visitor. The district of the Roman bridge(deck) and the river is dominated, and they take advantage of a prospect(perspective) on Mont-Ventoux.
