A visit in two stages, starting with a visit of the permanent course of the cinematheque, retracing the history of cinema, from the first optical instruments and special effects to the amateur film, and presenting the city through the camera of many filmmakers such as Jean Renoir, Gilles Grangier, Robert Guédiguian, Paul Carpita, Julia Ducournau, Olivier Marchal…
All followed by an exceptional visit of the film reserves, a focus on the first special effects of Georges Méliès and the projection of an archival film around the 40th anniversary of the City Hall.
