Hông Hiên Pagoda was founded in 1917 in the former Gallieni camp, one of the military camps for the reception of colonial troops. It was dedicated for several years to worship and devotion to Indochinese soldiers. Although it has mostly modern architecture and decoration, it is a significant witness of Buddhist spirituality.
