Built in the 11th century by the lords of Fos, the castle became one of the most important strongholds of Provence in the 13th century, under the authority of Count Charles of Anjou. It remains today only remains following its dismantling around 1620. It is accompanied by an archaeologist guide and an interpreter in LSF that the visitor will discover the secrets of the castle of Hyères.
