Exhibition of the Pelagos Sanctuary (marine mammals)

The Salon de la capitainerie du port de Sainte-Maxime and the Tourist Office, host the exhibition of photographs of cetaceans present in the Mediterranean and the Pélagos Sanctuary. Pelagos Sanctuary Pelagos is an 87,500 km² maritime area between France, Monaco and Italy that aims to conserve marine mammals and their habitats.
Through this exhibition, you will discover the 8 species of cetaceans present, you will learn to recognize the characteristics of these wonderful creatures, and will be informed of the threats related to human activities they face and the solutions envisaged to protect them.
