Castle located in the Vendée built on the site of an old church, the parish of Saint-André sur Mareuil. Today, only one wall of the church remains with the location of 2 Romanesque windows. The castle was built at the end of the 19th century. An orangery extension was made by the Taittinger family (champagnes) in the 1950s. Another extension, carried out in 2010 by Mr. and Mrs.Grit, exists to connect the tower that served as a washroom to the existing building.
