The îlotCo is a friendly place, open to all (without membership) where inhabitants, local actors, institutions – from Saint-Georges du Bois and elsewhere – can meet, forge links and develop projects together. It is a space that everyone can appropriate. The ÎlotCo is located within a remarkable rural heritage, in Saint-Georges du Bois, in Sarthe (72).
At L'îlotCo’s bakery, Linda, a peasant baker, makes natural sourdough bread twice a week. It’s open to everyone, on order from Linda. L'îlotCo is also an association where everyone brings their ideas and desires and where, together, we give them life! Its themes: sustainable food, ecological transition, living together and cultural and digital mediation. Members of the association receive weekly news of the week.
