Musée Clemenceau-de Lattre
The museum offers express guided tours of about thirty minutes every 1/2 hours to discover the birthplace of Marshal Jean de Lattre de Tassigny, a beautiful example of a middle-class house of the nineteenth century.
Jean de Lattre de Tassigny was born on 2 February 1889 in the house of his maternal grandparents, Jules and Zelina Hénault, mayor, royalist and Catholic, where his parents lived. He spent his childhood there until he left for college and returned there all his life.
His native house has preserved its decorations, furniture and gardens of the nineteenth century. A bilingual presentation situates its role in the French political and military history of the 20th century.
