Let yourself be won by the call of the sea and discover the heritage safeguarded by this Hilairoise association. In 1993, about twenty enthusiasts created the association La Livarde to preserve and enhance the maritime heritage of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez. Many documents and objects (old photographs, navigational instruments, fishing tools) testifying to Hilairoise maritime activity are collected, preserved and presented to the public. The association also rehabilitates old ships in its restoration workshop. Many boats have been refloated. In 2000, a deer was made with the tools used in the early twentieth century in marine carpentry.
