On the course of the museum: - Theatrical staging: The association The workshop of spare parts invests the museum and the building of the ovens to make them live. Each theatrical visit will take place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at fixed times (2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm). - The journey of the senses: this journey is done independently and places the senses of the visitor at the heart of the visit. The participant discovers ceramics in all its forms and through touch, hearing, smell and sight. - A Raku cooking demonstration: Sara Grace Wevill, ceramist, performs a continuous Raku cooking demonstration on Sunday 17 September. Visitors can observe this particular and impressive cooking technique. - The barbotine space (free creation space) will be relocated to the museum gardens to allow visitors to learn how to model in the open air! - Claire Gauzente, a social scientist and artist, proposes to discover short poetic notes inserted around the Museum’s spaces and works throughout the weekend.
Around the temporary exhibition Tour de Table:

  • Tales around greed: Karine Lohner, writer and storyteller will offer several tales around greed, for young and old, on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 2:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 5:15 p.m. - Independent Tableware Challenge: “Created the most appetizing clay piece in less than five minutes!” Visitors are invited to compete with a stopwatch. - The association of 19 Bonnes Tables Sarthoises revisits a traditional Sarthe recipe in front of the public. Once the culinary demonstration is over, a pretty table honouring the arts of the table is set by the chefs and the public can sit down for a free tasting.
