eglise de l'Assomption
théligny
The Church of the Assumption has been listed in the Historical Monuments since 1925\. The first mentions of the churches date from 1330 but, following the Hundred Years War, it was rebuilt on three campaigns of work from the end of the fifteenth to the second quarter of the sixteenth century, then the sacristy was added at the end of the eighteenth. There is every reason to think that the ground floor of the bell tower covered with a broken cradle would date from the thirteenth. The Church preserves many elements of old furniture such as the altarpieces of the seventeenth century, a virgin with the child of the fourteenth century, a Christ on the cross of the sixteenth century and many other braids.
