The exhibition presents chronologically the "dinosaurs" of the Mesozoic era (between 252 and 66 million years) in the region as in the whole world. Fossils found locally when the Le Mans region was covered by the sea, including the large marine reptiles of the Jurassic and Cretaceous, are on display.
