FAUST - Wandering show
The Théâtre de l'extrême is back with its new outdoor and wandering creation: FAUST by Goethe.
RESUME
From philosophy to medicine, without forgetting vain theology, Faust carefully studied everything. Yet no knowledge has allowed him to grasp the mysterious principle that binds the human being and the universe. Then he throws himself into the occult sciences and reveals a strange figure, Mephistopheles, both devil and guide charged with enlightening the questions of the one who invoked him. A blood pact binds Faust, who will see Mephistopheles triumph the day the doctor stops questioning himself, the day he feels satisfied. But «man wanders as long as he seeks», and the Faustian wandering seems to have no end. Only the young Marguerite and the passion born of this encounter seem to appease the essential dissatisfaction of those who wonder. She feared, however, that this love would not be so satisfying to her lover, and the drama of Faust became, from then on, also that of Marguerite.
