In the gardens of the Château du Lude, children lead the investigation through history. A thief stole a rose of great price and fled in time. The children go in search of it by going through each period of the castle where they collect clues. Once the thief is exposed and the rose is found, they go to the reception to receive their investigator diploma.
The hunt takes place continuously all day, without reservation.

This fortress of XI ° (1030), after an important military activity during Hundred Years' War, is completely rebuilt on its old(former) bases at the end of XV °, to the advantage of a castle ideally of Renaissance. While both wings the North and the South are raised(brought up) between 1500 and 1525, two others are entirely changed in XVIII ° during the travel(movement) of the portico(gantry) of Eastern entrance(entry) westward. The main attraction of this massive castle in four big towers of angle holds the diversity of its external facades which post(show) every of the very marked, the most remarkable styles being the wing the North, still close to Gothic with its high windows in the acute(sharp) gâbles and the wing the South where comes all ornamental vocabulary of the time(period) of François 1 ° (front walls(pediments) with shells(misprints), medallions, pilasters with diamonds and with arabesques). Indoors some wall paintings(paints) of XVI ° of the school of Raphaêl (1525) remain(subsist), in an oratory.
