Art and poetry of the American monument.

We are AGUA Espacios, a Franco-Colombian research group created in 2019 and formed, upon its arrival in France and in Saint-Nazaire in particular, in association law 1901 in February 2023. It aims to contribute to the mental and spiritual progress of humanity through the promotion of the visual arts and its cultural heritage.
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, we propose a poetic and artistic reading of the American monument of Saint-Nazaire, which everyone crosses, without even looking at it, in the public and maritime space.
This sculpture will be a pretext to address symbols, sculpture techniques and historical elements of this city reborn from its ashes after the Second World War. This conference may be bilingual French/Spanish if necessary.
