The Romanesque church was renovated in the 1990s. On this occasion, still unknown elements were discovered under the lime plaster: bucrânes (bull heads pulling the tongue), appeared above the side chapels, the chrism of the Roman emperor Constantine I engraved on a corner stone, acoustic vases to amplify the sound of preaching and singing adorn the choir vault.
A crate containing the old clothes worn by the priests was discovered behind a brick partition.
