About the location

Hôtel de la cité de Carcassonne
Place Auguste Pierre Pont, 11000 Carcassonne
  • Aude
  • Occitanie
The Hôtel de la Cité is an integral part of Carcassonne’s heritage, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the heart of the medieval city, built on the site of the former episcopal palace, this 5-star hotel adjoins the Basilica of Saint Nazaire and overlooks the lower city from the ramparts, offering an enchanting view of the city, its gardens, its walls and its stones that have passed through the centuries. The different spaces imbue you with a mixture of neo-Gothic décor and the Art Deco spirit of the 1920s.
