Although Conti’s house was linked to the Avignon region by numerous land links, the Prince de Conti never owned a building in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. The so-called hotel of the Prince of Conti was actually built at the end of the 17th century by Antoine Calvet, jurisconsult of Languedoc. The façade on the street opens with a large baroque portal currently covered with a tarpaulin. This hotel opens its doors exceptionally, while it is being renovated for many years.
