When Sophie and Christian Duriaud acquired it in 2012, as passionate, fearing that this abandoned mill would disappear, they undertook its restoration under the direction of the architect Pierre Cadot, with La Tournée du Coq and under the control of the Historical Monuments of Auch. And the Moulin de Gensac, the only old mill in Gers to have its mechanism and its wheels, has found a roof, wings and its original plaster.
