Let’s build a castle! Cardboard and string: everything is good in recycling to build a strong castle! With the help of the mediator, the children each build a castle composed of its towers, crenellated curtains and drawbridge. A playful discovery and practice of defensive architecture.

The castle, symbolized by the Bermond tower (12th-13th century) was transformed into a royal fortress in the 13th century under Louis IX, also known as Saint Louis. The buildings were transformed over the centuries following the civil wars between Catholics and Protestants. The remains of the defensive functions of the castle are still visible: tower, gate, loopholes, rampart and dwelling. Impressive spiral staircase leading to the top of the keep of 25 meters.
