Building of Renaissance style built by 1540 at the request of Jean de Calvimont; Lord of Labenche. He(It) belonged successively to the families of Calvimont, Dumas, Sabruguet-Damarzid. Louis XIII domiciled(resided) during its visit of Brive there. Bought in 1829 by the bishop de Tulle, he became the property of the City of Brive in 1906.
