Association Law 1901, the Aero-Club du Bocage was created in July 1983\. Originally a private land belonging to the Heuliez industrial group, the aerodrome located in Rorthais, an associated municipality of Mauléon, is now open to public air traffic by day and night. The facilities belong to the Aglo2B, agglomeration of the communes of Bocage Bressuirais, which puts the landing strip, the taxiway, the car parks, the two airplane hangars, the control tower and the house club at the disposal of the aero-club. It includes an aircraft section and an ULM section and has a flight school. To date, it has about 60 members.
