"Madam is served! Tableware and the Art of Entertaining from the 18th Century to the Present”: Discover Bachen Castle in its most elegant attire: five refined settings that trace the evolution of the tableware since the 18th century.
- The grand entrance: «Welcome to the castle»: you will discover the history of the cutlery, from the Renaissance to today, as well as the objects and utensils of the table, and the art of receiving.
- The living room: «Le Souper du Baron»: table service in the Age of Enlightenment, with fine earthenware, shaped pieces, craftsmen and table evolutions.
- The dining room: «Karen Blixen»: table set around the beautiful service to the felines of the Maison Hermès. Table art is today a source of inspiration for contemporary designers.
- The library: «Spring Lunch»: 19th century floral porcelain service, pastels and presentation of different service techniques.
- The kitchen: «Le Souper des Vendanges»: rustic earthenware service, silver and glassware of the nineteenth century, cast iron and brass stove with cariatides.
