Guided tour of the Haute-Vienne prefecture

The visits allow to discover the history of the building, the Marianne room, the staircase of honor and the office of the Prefect.

The visits allow you to discover the history of the building, the Marianne room, the main staircase and the office of the Prefect.
The visits will end with a meeting with the Prefect in her office.
The 10 am visit will be conducted in French sign language.

Built at the beginning of the XXth century, the prefecture announces the beginnings of art nouveau and its decoration reflects style "Fine Arts". Label "heritage of the XXth century". In 2011, the State becomes only possessing this place listed(classified) in conformance with(for) Historic monuments.
