About the location

Cité de Clairvivre
Clairvivre, 24160 Salagnac
  • Dordogne
  • Nouvelle-Aquitaine
The health centre of the 1930s, an example of a utopian city for the lung injured during the First World War, which could live alongside their families and in an environment conducive to social reintegration. It is a unique modern architecture that reflects the nation’s recognition of its soldiers. The Strasbourg Faculty of Medicine retreated there during the Second World War. Sanatorium of international style. Pavilions, hotel, shop, hospital, garage, printing, park.
