Listed as a Historical Monument in 1970\. Saint-Pierre Church in Lesgor is the best preserved fortified religious building in the department: harmony of lines and beautiful fittings in Carcarès shelly sandstone make it look great.
Of the Romanesque construction of the twelfth century, it remains only the walls, the apse openwork of narrow windows supported on three imposing buttresses added later. The building was entirely raised in the fourteenth century by the English. A round path with loopholes runs along the nave and at the bedside. The square tower of the bell tower, a real keep supported by six buttresses with larmiers, four of which with triple ressaut, is pierced by a door.
