The parish church of Saint-Pierre de Cussac is typical of Limousin churches. It is a living testimony of a simple but neat architecture. The nave and choir were built in the 12th century, and the side chapels were added in the 16th century. Excavations in 1972 suggest that the church was built on the site of a smaller earlier church. The two chapels that form the church are vaulted with ribs and ribs. The church also has a flamboyant door that opens onto the south chapel.
