Meeting and discussion around «Saison vitale» (1987), a work by the artist Arsen Savadov acquired in 1991 for the collection of the LCdr and never shown before April 6, 2023. In museums, there are works that we see, and others that, for years, remain invisible to people passing through the exhibitions. In order to highlight these works and explore the invisibility of the history of the museum’s collections, the LCdr has created a new series of projects entitled «Cold Case», which are translated into French by closed case. «Saison vitale», a work of the artist Arsen Savadov is the first presentation of the project «Cold Case» and, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, a meeting-discussion is organized with Sasha Peevak, worker of the interdependent art, co-founder of Beyond the post-soviet and Oksana Barshynova, art historian and curator of the National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kiev.

The museum, formerly a centre for contemporary plastic arts, was created in 1973 by Jean-Louis Froment. He settled in 1974 in the Lainé Warehouse, a former warehouse of colonial goods that will be redeveloped in the following years. Since then, it has hosted numerous exhibitions.
