Take advantage of guided tours offered by the high school students of the Professions section of the reception of the Lycée des métiers Paul Bert, in collaboration with the mission City of art and history of the city of Bayonne.
In the heart of Petit-Bayonne, push the door of the Lycée des métiers Paul Bert and discover a place steeped in history, from the medieval remains to the former military hospital. Located in one of the protected areas of the city, the establishment occupies the buildings of the former military hospital inaugurated in 1842. The latter was located on the remains of the medieval convent of the Jacobins and the Capuchins. Renovated in 2015, the school currently hosts 580 students.

The high school is located in the centre of Bayonne in the heart of the Saint-André district, in a building steeped in history and classified as a remarkable heritage site in a preserved area (former military hospital built in 1842).
