The Bishops' Palace, located in the heart of the medieval city of Issigeac, is currently undergoing architectural rehabilitation. This imposing structure, built in the 17th century on medieval foundations, was once the summer residence of the bishops of Sarlat. During the days dedicated to heritage, guided tours of the exterior and interior will be offered, allowing visitors to discover its unique architecture. The vaulted rooms and the old party hall will reveal the secrets of this historic building, while the comments will shed light on how the inhabitants of Issigeac have appropriated this place to make it a living space for the community.
In parallel, an exhibition of photos dedicated to living heritage in Issigeacois Country will be presented within the Bishops'
