«Leave a blank» by Collectif 1.68 - Closing Night
Join the banks of the Garonne in Saint-Louis-de-montferrand for the closing evening of «Laisse un blanc», a plural, ephemeral and evolving artistic project of the collective 1.68 whose installations have punctuated since this spring the Parenthèse de Saint-68Louis-de-montferrand dedicated to the metropolitan program «Art in the city».
Visual artists Lucie Bayens, Benjamin Begey dit Billgraben, Joan Coldefy, performers Marjorie Stoker and Clément Muratet (CCM Collective) and photographer Claire Lafargue have concocted a festive evening to close their interventions as part of the European Heritage Days. On the program of Saturday, September 16: - 14h: Laisse un blanc cheval ll, performance proposed by Lucie Bayens with the complicity of the horse About and Juliette from the pension Zen pets. - 16h: walking tours with the members of the collective 1.68. - 17h: Desplacements, collaborative proposal by Billgraben. - 18h30: JEU [8], performance by the CCM collective. - 19h30: festive evening with the participation of Debora Incorvaia, culinary artist/ extensions of JEU[8]/ video projections.
In parallel with this evening, the media library of Saint-Louis-de-Montmerrand exhibits photos and works of the collective 1.68 from September 12 to October 28.
From spring to autumn 2023, the collective 1.68 deploys installations and performances on this plot on the edge of the river which is a part of the world with its specificities, its human history, plant, animal and artistic, its landscapes moving with the seasons. This environmental artistic experiment is an invitation to the cohabitation between practices, human and non-human, artists and passers-by, visitors and inhabitants on this place which operated a passage from the private to the public, a shift from inhabited to habitable.
