Tintignac is a site of Gallic origin: Gallic and Gallo-Roman pits, a double cella fanum and a hemicycle building are all elements that you can discover during your visit. The Gallo-Roman temple covers a Gallic sanctuary, whose excavation delivered exceptional objects, such as carnyx and elaborate helmets. The site has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1840.
