For the European Heritage Days 2023, the Association de Sauvegarde du Patrimoine de la Valée de la Durèze (ASPCCVD) organizes a cultural animation with the participation of the local population (aged 5 to 99) on the theme: «Draw your village».
All those who would like to make a drawing, a painting, a photograph of an element of the heritage of Gensac are encouraged to do so during the summer period.
The main objective is to make an exhibition of the works on September 16 & 17, 2023. The proposed exhibition would be on the church square if the weather permits, with as a fallback solution: the church or the old hall.

The masonry work was carried out rather quickly for a building of this size, however the finishing work and embellishment (stained glass and wall paintings) were carried out over a period of about twenty years, ending with the magnificent mural paintings of the choir by the Bordeaux painter Léo Millet in 1897\.
