This committed artist has patiently searched local archives in search of the life stories of our ancestors. His modern look offers us a rich and sensitive encounter, between past and present, which leaves the beautiful part to the cries of freedom of history.

It is one of the oldest districts in Bordeaux. It is also home to the magnificent Sainte-Croix church that gave the district its name. The name of the surrounding streets is not insignificant. In the past, potters worked on rue des Fours, and the people who took care of the oxen and their team practised on rue des Bouviers. Discover the Rue de la Porte de la Monnaie which, at the end of the 18th century saw the construction of the important hotel of La Frappe de la Monnaie with 19th century houses. Today, the Sainte-Croix district in Bordeaux is marked by culture with a series of museums, art and music schools and other cultural venues that give this city an authentic charm.
