They illustrate ancient trades (blacksmith, cabinetmaker, sabotier, cooper, gamekeeper, miller, lavender, ladder or rake manufacturer, potter, firemen, boilermaker of vintage, sumptuous, charron, broom manufacturer, sawers of long...), village life (coffee, war memorial, fairground, school, grocery store, bakery, poacher, ...) and field work (ploughing, apple picking, hay, harvesting, milking cows, etc.). Made in the 1980s, with a realistic attention to detail, the models are restored and enhanced by the volunteers of the Association des amis du château de Montfort.

Château fin xv° - début XV°, inhabited until 1755 by the Marquetel de Montfort family. Dismantled in the 19th century, it fell into ruin and disappeared under the vegetation. In 1981, it was bought by the association of friends of the castle of Montfort which undertook to restore it by volunteer sites and revived it: concerts, exhibitions, shows, medieval festival, ...
