Abbaye Saint-Vigor

To discover the Saint-Vigor abbey in complete autonomy, a documentary support is available at the reception. It is completed by a video projection on the history of the abbey.
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the visit includes the unusual discovery of the medieval underground, open continuously.

Founded in 1032 by Robert le Magnifique, Duke of Normandy, Saint-Vigor Abbey is one of the oldest Norman abbeys. A true jewel of Norman Romanesque architecture, its apse, pierced by fifteen windows on three levels of elevation, is a unique example. The Abbey is open for visits from April to the end of October. All year round for groups on reservation, from ten people.
